Akbars To Buy The Bulls?

Bradford based restaurant chain Akbars have confirmed to BCB News that they are involved in talks to buy the Bulls.

The troubled super league giants have until 5pm today to finalise any potential deal to save themselves from liquidation and extinction.

BCB's Josh Stead spoke to Akbars Corporate Manager Dill Butt about the takeover talks...

Meanwhile, the Rugby Football League have said that even if the club finds a buyer, it doesn't necessarily mean its troubles are over.

Sanctions are likely to be imposed by the league, and any takeover will depend on factors such as the buyer taking ownership of the stadium and paying off the clubs debts.

Even if the club is rescued today, it will be the first step on a long road to recovery.
